The conversion process towards Catholic Voluntary Academy is progressing with careful discussions taking place with the Governors, Diocese, Department for Education and with the Local Authority, to ensure a “seamless transition” towards our new status. So far few difficulties have been encountered and all parties are confident that the transition will go ahead in the near future.

February 2012

Having been given approval by Bishop John, our school has now applied to the DfE to convert to Catholic Voluntary Academy status. Further information will be provided once it becomes available.

October 2011

At their meeting of 5^th October, the Governing Body of Notre Dame High School decided to proceed towards Catholic Voluntary Academy Status.

This decision was taken following full discussion, including reviewing every response from parents and other members of our school community.

Further discussion will now take place with the schools’ department of the diocese re; the next stages in progressing to Catholic Voluntary Academy status.  Information will be provided as it becomes available.
